Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Autumn finds the rarest of friendships – a lost jaguar cub she finds named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope behind for the unknown in New York, she has dreamed for years of returning to the rainforest and her friend. At 14, accustomed to city life, Autumn discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal smugglers and decides she must return to the Amazon to be with her beloved jaguar. Anya (Emily Beth Rickards), Autumn’s charmingly clumsy biology teacher, tries unsuccessfully to talk her out of this reckless plan. Accompanied by Anya, Autumn sets out on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who seek to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
